Visa USA (student visa F1-F2)
* Apply to the institution (this has been selected by the student according to their interests and needs)
* Receiving offer letter (i-20)
* Pay the SEVIS (visitor-information-system)
Visa application process
* Taking photos according to embassy standards
* Diligate DS-160 form (this one is diligent together with the LAE advisor) when it is finished print the notification with the barcode that it throws.
* Request cited You can pay by credit card or at the Helm bank $160 USD. Once the appointment has been scheduled, the current passport must be carried in good condition together with the confirmation letter obtained when diligent the DS-160 form.
* Attend the scheduled meeting with the embassy (be timely and take the supporting documents organized as LAE to you after the review)
* Visa response (approval or denial will be the same day of presentation of the interview.

* Current passport and previous passports
* Photo type passport color white background and photo in digital format jpg to attach to form DS-160.
* Letter of intent for studies
* Certificates of academic history (original and copy of diplomas or records of study)
* Student employment letter (if applicable)
* Copy of the birth registration (only if supported by a sponsor)
Information from the economic sponsor
The student may have up to 3 financial sponsors. They must be family members preferably of first grade.
* Letter of authenticated economic sponsorship
* Photocopy of the cedula of citizenship to color and authenticated
* Copies of the civil birth register (for evidence of kinship)
* Working letter from the economic sponsor (attach last deductible payroll and the Certificate of Income and Retention) or camera and commerce if you have your own business (attach income and tax declaration last year)
* Letter of retirement or retirement (attach pension decision and last deductible of pension payment)
* If the sponsor works as an independent one, it is required: letter of accountant certifying revenue, Rut, letters from companies to which it provides services or accounts of collection, invoices, etc.).
* Financial movements (bank statements of the 3 months before the application of the visa. Savings, current, CDT's, revolving or educational credits are accepted.) (ICETEX)
* Declaration of Income of the last 2 years
* Certificate of tradition of goods authenticated copy.
