Visit to the visa office
When reviewing your student authorization application, the visa official must be satisfied that you meet the requirements of the Canadian Immigration Act and Regulations and that you will only be temporarily in Canada. Once the visa officer is satisfied that you are a student in good faith and that all legal requirements have been met, he will give you a document to show immigration officials when they arrive in Canada who will issue their student authorization. Since your student authorization will normally be valid for the duration of your course, please ensure that your travel document (passport) is also valid for the same period of time
The information should be permanently reconfirmed by the consulate's website, as embassies and consulates reserve the right to modify the established documentation and requirements without notice.
